This Earth Day, I decided to build a raised garden box outside of my place of residence. I love to garden and take care of plants, but the soil in Clemson kind of sucks. Living on top of red clay, the soil is not the best for things like tomatoes and peppers. So, I grabbed some lumber and went to work. I dug all four holes and sunk the posts in 10.5 inches then built the long sides and put them in. Finally the end pieces got screwed in and there we go! I cannot wait to fill it up with dirt and grow all of the things!
I have known Ben for two years through the Clemson University Dairy Science Club. He is amazingly dedicated to animal vet sciences and continues to surprise with everything he can juggle. Congrats on graduating Ben!
The South Carolina Review (SCR) is a literary magazine housed here at Clemson University. According to their website, "we attempt to reflect the diverse experience of our readers and contributors by publishing affecting, thought-provoking work from both new and established writers from a wide background." Last semester, I was placed on the lead for a photography inquiry for this magazine to match images with the selected stories. Here are some of the shots from that shoot, and you should definitely go and check them out on facebook, amazon, and their website!
