These kinds of shoots are my favorites because they allow me to be more creative than others. I love doing general shoots, but I love being 100% in charge of my own vision. Sometimes I will reach out on Instagram for inspirational ideas until one sticks with me. This was one of those shoots that I just couldn't say no to. With help from Karrie Lykins MUA, my dream came alive and I cannot wait to share these!
Last weekend, the Clemson Dairy Science Show Team went to the SC state fair. It was a whirlwind of cows and ribbons, but it was an amazing time. Not only did we do very well in the shows, we also got to sleepover at the fair and wake up at 3am to watch heifers not poop on each other. I know, this is a luxurious job. It really is the highlight of my semester though, so enjoy some pictures of a clumsy photographer's off days.
Guess what? My Clemson photography job has me shoot Clemson football games. It sounds so cool, doesn't it? Well, I got some good shots, but it is honestly not something that I would do more than once a year. There are a lot of rules and people and they don't tell you the rules before you go. It is very "learn on the job." Don't get me wrong though, it was a great opportunity. If you get the chance to do it, you should. To prove this point, here are some of the shots that I got the other day!
Good luck at the Homecoming game, Tigers!
Welcome back to the blog! Midterms have been hurting my soul, but that hasn't stopped me from going out and doing my thing. This past weekend, I had the opportunity to run a headshot special with Karrie Lykins MUA for upcoming high school pageants. I love working with strong women such as Karrie and I highly recommend her for any makeup needs. For headshots, we had Maddie and Baileigh (two very sweet and beautiful girls). If you are in the North Augusta area, go root for Maddie at Miss NASH and Baileigh for Miss South Aiken!
